F-Series Bonegrafting
The system is highly innovative and unique. The design of the instrument’s shape was based on research with regard to optimum length, lightness and slenderness. Thus it was reduced to absolute simplicity and beauty. The aim was to provide surgeons with genuinely directional feeling and accuracy by manipulating the screwdriver at its sides, not at the top. Application of force is never intended. The tiny, self-tapping screws find their direction through the bone in a firm, sure and easy way.
A Lefort I advancement with bilateral sinus lifting and inlay-on lay bone grafting (posterior hip) was performed in an edentulous patient. Fixation of the upper jaw with bone plates B.804 and B.803 and G.005 screws. Fixation of the bone grafts with screws F.1206 to F.1214.
The extreme atrophic upper jaw was build up with a posterior hip graft. Bilateral sinus lifting with inlay-on lay bone grafting was performed. Fixation of the bone grafts was achieved with screws F.1206 to F.1214. Thorough fixation of the bone graft is deemed necessary in order to prevent micro-movement of the bone graft and subsequent infection.
